Earn a Master's Degree or Sixth Year Diploma in Professional Education (Online or on Campus) in Educational Psychology with an Emphasis in Gifted and Talented Education
University of Connecticut Advance Story about Our Online Master's Program

For two decades our Three Summers Master's Degree has been a hallmark of teacher training in gifted education. We also include an online option in collaboration with our Confratute program.

We offer a Master's Degree and Sixth year diploma in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Gifted and Talented Education. We provide the following attendance options:
  • Full time students complete all courses at the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut,
  • Attend summer classes at the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut over three summers (complete core courses on campus and most electives online) - June 29 - July 10, 2009 or
  • Attend campus twice, once to take EPSY 5710 & 5720 - June 29 - July 10, 2009 - and again at the end of the program to attend Confratute for two weeks and take EPSY 5195 & 5198 and complete the remaining courses online.
  • Confratute 2009 dates are July 13th - 24th

    Comment from an online student...

"When I began the on-line program back in January of 2003, I had no idea what to expect. But I never expected the amount of support, encouragement, and helpfulness that every last one of you has shown me over the past 3 ½ years. I think the natural tendency for on-line students is to feel a little disconnected when we come to UConn itself-but when we meet all of you and you remember our names, faces, and personal tidbits about each of us, we can't help but feel like we belong. Thank you for the exceptional manner in which you do your jobs and for making me feel like a part of the UConn family!"
      - Nicole Meier, Wisconsin
