Kristina Ayers Paul is a research assistant at the Neag Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development, where she works on the evaluation team for the Connecticut Teacher Quality Partnership Grant Program, contributes to the NRC/GT research team, and serves as the on-site coordinator for Confratute. A former teacher and coordinator of K-2 gifted services, she continues her K-12 work by consulting with school districts to aid in the development or evaluation of programs for academically talented students. Kristina holds a BS in Psychology and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and is completing her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, focusing in Gifted Education and Talent Development, at the University of Connecticut. She is simultaneously seeking Program Evaluation Certification through the Department of Measurement, Evaluation, and Assessment. Kristina's research interests include methods of effective gifted program evaluation, programming for high-end learners in early childhood, talent development in teachers, and educational technology.
