UConn Graduate Wins Outstanding Paper Award from Southwest Educational Research Association

Dr. Lilia Ruban, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Houston and a 2000 graduate of the University of Connecticut, received the 2003 SERA Outstanding Paper Award (Southwest Educational Research Association) for her paper, The Differential Impacts of Pre-College Factors and Self-Regulated Learning on Academic Performance of University Students with and without Learning Disabilities. In April, she will present her paper at the annual American Educational Research Association in New Orleans. Congratulations, Lilia!!!
