Parent Resources – Newsletters

Newsletters for each unit are available for the teachers to use. The newsletters are designed to inform the parents about what their child is learning, offer tips on ways for parents to help their child learn math and provide a few challenging problems for the family to work on together. Children need to see adults doing math both to help them recognize math's importance and to understand that, while math can be hard work, there is satisfaction in persisting with a problem until you find a solution.
