Description:

The Coordinator consults with individual schools and teachers, along with arranging numerous district-wide opportunities for students. Some of these special programs include: Heritage Fair, Invention Convention, Art Exhibits, Young Authors' Workshops, Young Mathematicians' Workshop. There is an extensive minicourse program through the schools. Enrichment cluster operate in some of the schools. The enrichment program pretests for math in grades 3 to 6. Accelerated math begins in grade 6. There is a district-wide mathematics contest for grades 4 to 12 each spring.

Description:

We are the only District in the province providing Congregated Days for Identified students—these workshop days are tailored to meet curriculum outcomes. Gifted students come together for a day to delve into a topic area of interest. We also have Differentiated Curriculum in most schools.
