The district's TAG Plan describes the recent self-assessment of needs, program philosophy, goals, parent, and community involvement, links to system initiatives, appeal processes, and a timeline for implementation of the Plan. Multiple indicators of giftedness are used for identification and placement of students in grades K-12. Screening procedures are outlined for site-based teams. Service delivery options are clearly described for elementary, middle, and high school students. Also, the social and emotional needs of TAG students are addressed within the counseling component of the TAG Plan.
