Description:

Junior High teachers voluntarily signed up to replace a retiring enrichment teacher by having enrichment offerings during a free period for students and teachers. This has produced a plethora of opportunities during times in the day that one person couldn't have accomplished. In the Primary building I have been working on classroom experts. The teacher recommends a few students for a pullout offering. They complete the offering and then they go back and instruct their peers on what they learned. The most successful example is our pinhole program for 3rd graders when the experts bring their class back thru the permanent darkroom that I have set up in my classroom.
