Dr. D. Betsy McCoach is an assistant professor in the Educational Psychology Department at the University of Connecticut, where she teaches graduate courses in measurement, educational statistics, research design, and gifted education. Betsy has served as the co-webmaster of the AERA Gifted SIG's webpage for the past three years. She is also co-editor of the Journal of Advanced Academics, a new journal on advanced academic programs and practices. Betsy is currently a member of the editorial board of Gifted Child Quarterly. She has also served as the membership chair and the program chair for the Research and Evaluation Division of NAGC. Prior to earning her Ph.D, Betsy served as a gifted and talented coordinator in Pennsylvania.
